Nellore Sports Complex and Stadium Foundation Laid
A new sports complex and cricket stadium are planned at Government Polytechnic College in Nellore.
Minister P Narayana laid the foundation stone for the project.
He said work would start soon and happen in three phases.
He also marked the start of plans for a water treatment plant at the college.
During the visit, he planted trees and joined people cleaning roads.
Sanitation workers were thanked for their work.
Narayana asked people to help keep Andhra Pradesh clean.
He also said more waste-to-energy plants are being built.

Narayana also performed a bhumi puja for a water treatment plant on the college premises and planted saplings.
He joined a cleanliness drive under the Swachh Andhra–Swachh Bharat programme, and sanitation workers were felicitated.
Narayana said waste-to-energy plants were operating in Visakhapatnam and Guntur, with eight more being established.
