Nagpur POCSO Accused Demands Pizza, Soft Bed in Custody
A man in India is in trouble with the police for doing something very wrong.
Police say he trapped a teenage girl who was just 16 years old using a pretend account on a social media app called Instagram.
He tricked her by using a fake name, and then he scared her by threatening to share her private pictures.
Police say the man kept her locked in a house for more than a whole day and hurt her many times.
Her family was very worried and went to the police when she went missing.
The police found where she was and rescued her, and she is now in the hospital getting help.
When the man was put in jail, he complained about the jail and asked for pizza, a soft bed, and mosquito spray.
He also would not share the passwords to his phone.
The police are still looking into everything he did, and he will have to face a judge.
A 19-year-old man, Nirmay Madhav Pakhare, was arrested in Nagpur for allegedly holding a 16-year-old girl captive and sexually assaulting her.
Pakhare complained about lock-up conditions and demanded pizza, premium meals, soft bedding, and mosquito repellent from police.
The girl went missing on August 2; police broke open the door of a rented house in Dighori late Monday night and rescued her.
Police say Pakhare used a fake Instagram account named 'Akash Mehra' to befriend the girl, then blackmailed her with private photos.
A case was registered under the POCSO Act and for kidnapping, and Pakhare refused to disclose the passwords of the phones.
