SFO Technologies Hands Over PPDS for SARAS MKII Aircraft
SFO Technologies has built an important electrical system for India’s SARAS MKII aircraft.
The system is called the Primary Power Distribution System, or PPDS.
It works like the aircraft’s main electrical control center.
It sends power from the engines and batteries to important equipment.
It can also help the flight computer check the system’s health.
SFO Technologies developed it with CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories.
The first airworthy unit was handed over on September 16, 2026.
SARAS MKII is designed to carry 19 passengers and connect smaller cities.
