Another Suspect Arrested in Haryanvi Singer Ankit Balyan Murder Case
Police in Uttar Pradesh arrested a man named Rohit in the case involving singer Ankit Balyan’s murder.
Police say Rohit may have helped plan the killing.
They also say he was a friend of Mohit, another accused person.
Balyan was shot after leaving a gym in Shamli on August 26, 2026.
Police said two alleged shooters, Sumit and Mohit, later died in separate encounters.
Three other people are still being searched for.
Police have offered Rs 1 lakh for information leading to the arrest of each of them.
Officials have also started steps to attach the absconding suspects’ assets.
Police arrested Rohit alias Ladla, a Sonipat resident, in connection with Ankit Balyan’s murder.
Officials allege Rohit was involved in the conspiracy and was a friend of accused Mohit.
Balyan was shot after leaving a gym and walking toward his car in Shamli on August 26, 2026.
Police said alleged shooters Sumit and Mohit were killed in separate encounters on August 31.
Three other suspects remain wanted, with a Rs 1 lakh reward announced for information leading to each arrest.
