India records best-ever judo medal haul at Commonwealth Games

Judo is a sport where two people try to throw each other to the ground.

People who play it are called judokas.

Indian judokas went to a big sports event called the Commonwealth Games, where many countries compete.

This year, Indian judokas did better in judo than India ever had before.

They won two gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal.

It was the first time India ever won a gold medal in judo at this event.

Many of the winners train at a special sports center called the Inspire Institute of Sport.

Their coaches say better training, good food, and taking care of injuries helped them improve.

The judokas hope to get even better with more international competitions.
