Toddler Critical After Falling From Third Floor in Bengaluru

A very small baby, only one and a half years old, fell from the third floor of a tall apartment building in a city called Bengaluru.

The baby was playing near a balcony and climbed up onto the railing, then fell all the way down to the ground.

People who lived nearby saw it happen and ran to help right away.

There was no time to wait for an ambulance, so they put the hurt baby on a motorcycle and drove quickly to a hospital in a nearby area.

Cameras at the building caught the whole thing on video.

Doctors at the hospital are working hard to help the baby, who is very badly hurt and still fighting for life.

The police are looking into what happened and whether the grown-ups were careless about watching the child.

They are also telling all parents and guardians to watch young children very carefully, especially near balconies.

They say that even a short moment without someone watching can be very dangerous.
