J&K DGP chairs hybrid security review with police and CAPF
The police in Jammu and Kashmir had a big meeting.

That is why it is called a 'hybrid' meeting.
They talked about keeping people safe and stopping bad people from causing trouble.
There have been some sad attacks recently.
A policeman named Ashiq Qureshi was killed on July 31.
Two workers from another state were also killed.
India's birthday, called Independence Day, is on August 15.
The police want to make sure the celebration in Srinagar is peaceful and safe for everyone.

Discussions covered counter-infiltration measures, area domination, intelligence sharing and public safety ahead of upcoming events.
The meeting follows the July 31 killing of head constable Ashiq Qureshi in Anantnag by terrorists while he was on Yatra duty.
Two non-local brick kiln labourers, Deepak and Bopinder from Chhattisgarh, were shot dead in Kellam village in Kulgam district.
Security has been beefed up for the August 15 Independence Day celebrations at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar, where Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will preside.
