The five transactions include withdrawals and non-financial activities.
After five transactions, a cash withdrawal will cost Rs 23 plus GST.
A non-financial transaction will cost Rs 11 plus GST.
People using SBI ATMs will still get 10 free transactions each month.
Cardless withdrawals remain free without a stated limit, and SBI will also allow four free monthly cash withdrawals for Basic Savings Deposit Accounts.
From October 1, 2026, SBI salary account holders will get five free monthly transactions at other banks’ ATMs and ADWMs, down from 10.
The revised five-transaction limit covers both financial and non-financial transactions across all centres.
After the free limit, cash withdrawals will cost Rs 23 plus GST and non-financial transactions Rs 11 plus GST.
