Film Fraternity Opposes Cauvery Water Release to Tamil Nadu
In Bengaluru, a group of Kannada film makers and farmers said they do not want water from the Cauvery River to be sent to Tamil Nadu.
The water authority said it would still send the water for 15 days.
The film group, led by Jayamala, said they always help farmers and want to keep water for their own people.

Producer Sa Ra Govindu pledged the film chamber would back any action taken by Kannada organisations and farmer groups.
