Madhya Pradesh Summit Targets Smarter Greener Public Transport Mobility
Madhya Pradesh is organizing a two-day meeting about improving public transport.
It will take place in Indore on September 11 and 12, 2026.
Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will open the event.
The meeting will discuss making buses and other passenger services safer, more reliable and easier to use.
Government officials and private companies will explore ways to work together.
They will also talk about using computers and artificial intelligence to plan better routes.
Cleaner buses powered by electricity, hydrogen or flex-fuel will be discussed.
A technology exhibition and a competition for mobility startups will also be part of the summit.
Madhya Pradesh will host the two-day Passenger Transport Vision Summit 2026 in Indore on September 11 and 12.
Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the summit, with Transport and School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh also participating.
The summit will focus on the Chief Minister Sugam Parivahan Seva, public-private partnerships, information technology and green energy.
An industry expo, a mobility-startup hackathon, a new MPYPIL logo and publications about the transport initiative will be launched.
Eight sessions will address investment, sustainable bus operations, passenger safety, AI route planning, electric and hydrogen buses, and green infrastructure.
