Two men died in Greater Noida after inhaling toxic fumes in a sewage tank.

Shashikant Sharma, a worker, lost consciousness while cleaning the tank.

Akash, a security guard, tried to save him but also lost consciousness.

Both were rescued and taken to the hospital, where they were declared dead.

Police are investigating the incident.

Earlier in June, three people died in a similar incident in Delhi's Mundka Industrial Area while cleaning a septic tank.
