Police Fail to Recover Stolen 16th-Century Cannon
A group of armed men stole a very old cannon from a fort in India.
The police tried hard to find it by digging in many places and using special tools, but they couldn't find the cannon.
The thieves had tried to steal it before but couldn't because it was too heavy.
They came back with a big vehicle and took it away.
The police are still looking for the cannon and the thieves.
A 16th-century cannon was stolen from Narwar Fort in Shivpuri district, Madhya Pradesh.
Police conducted a day-long search with 50 personnel and advanced equipment but failed to recover the cannon.
The thieves initially attempted to steal the cannon on July 5 but returned on the night of July 15–16 with a loading vehicle.
The cannon was one of 14 historic cannons from the Scindia dynasty kept at the fort.
Police are relying on technical evidence and local intelligence to crack the case.
