Suman Calls for Government Support for Short Films
Actor Suman Talwar spoke at a short film festival in Andhra Pradesh.

The Andhra Pradesh Short Film Festival and Awards received 203 entries, with 65 films shortlisted.
Mahavriksham won the first prize of ₹50,000, Simhadri Appanna won the second prize of ₹30,000, and Abaddham vs Nijam won the third prize of ₹20,000.
Suman praised the festival organizer Dileep Raja for promoting local talent and encouraged increased subsidies for young filmmakers.
Selected stories from the festival may be considered for an OTT platform, and a proposal to increase subsidies is under consideration by the AP Film Development Corporation.
