The government has approved the construction of a new Ayush hospital in Tenali, Guntur.

This hospital will have 50 beds and cost Rs 26 crore.

The minister, Dr. Nadendla Manohar, visited the site of the old government hospital where the new hospital will be built.

He said that Ayurveda is becoming more popular worldwide and this new hospital will help provide better medical care to the people of Tenali.

The old building is not in good condition, so the new hospital will be built on the same premises.
