Lawyers had been protesting.

Because of an updated schedule, he will not hear cases at the Jaipur Bench from September 1 to September 5.

An earlier schedule was issued on August 24.

That schedule placed him and Justice Sangeeta Sharma together on a division bench.

The bench was supposed to hear several kinds of cases.

These included public-interest cases, appeals, income-tax matters and contempt cases.
