Aruna Assures Fair Compensation for Railway Land Acquisition

Some farmers in India gave up their land so that trains can travel faster between two towns.

A leader named D.K. Aruna came to meet the farmers and promised they would get a fair amount of money.

She said the money should match what the land is really worth in the market.

The farmers were happy because they gave their land on their own.

During the meeting, money cheques were handed out to the families.

Many families were helped, and a lot of land was used for the new railway track.

Aruna also talked about building bridges over the railway line so people do not have to wait at the gates.

She said the Central government will pay for these bridges fully.

This way, the farmers get fair money and the town gets better railways.
