Meenakshi Lekhi appointed chairperson of Divyang Cricket Control Board

A former government minister named Meenakshi Lekhi has a new job.

She is now the chairperson of the Divyang Cricket Control Board of India.

Divyang is a word used for people with disabilities.

The board runs cricket teams for players with disabilities, like the Indian Divyang Cricket Team and the Indian Wheelchair Cricket Team.

She was given this new role during a big award ceremony in Agra.

Lekhi said she will work hard to help Divyang cricket grow in India and around the world.

She told the players to keep doing their duties with honesty and dedication, inspired by the story of Lord Ram.

The board is also planning a new cricket series in Mumbai with teams from India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
