AP signs pact for 1,000 Mee Marts

The Andhra Pradesh government has teamed up with the National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation to open 1,000 new stores called Mee Marts.

These stores will sell things like rice and other essential items at lower prices to help people deal with rising costs.

The first stores will open in four districts: Palnadu, Guntur, NTR, and Krishna.

The government is also selling special types of rice at discounted prices through Rythu Bazaars and rice mills.

This is all part of their plan to make life easier for regular people by giving them access to affordable goods.
