Madhya Pradesh Seeks Land For Two New Helipads
MP Aviation Department Seeks Local Administration Help To Identify Two Helipad Sites · freepressjournal.in

Madhya Pradesh wants to build two places where helicopters can land and take off.

One helipad would be near the Chief Minister’s residence, and the other would be near Mantralaya.

Officials could not find suitable land earlier, so the Bhopal district administration is now helping.

Revenue officers are searching for possible sites.

They are looking especially near Pandit Khusilal Ayurvedic Hospital and the Indian Institute of Forest Management.

A plan to put a helipad on top of future buildings was not approved by the aviation regulator.

The helipads could help the Chief Minister travel without closing roads for a convoy.

The state is also expected to receive an ACH 160 helicopter from Airbus in the coming months.
