MCA Establishes Rahane Scholarship Fund, Finalises 2026-27 Contracts

The Mumbai Cricket Association has created a scholarship fund to honour Ajinkya Rahane.

Rahane is a former India and Mumbai captain.

The fund will help young cricketers and improve Mumbai’s cricket grounds.

Sharad Pawar has contributed to the fund.

The association also chose players for its 2026-27 contracts.

Players were placed in Grades A, B or C. Men’s players will receive between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 12 lakh each year, depending on their grade.

Women players were also included in the contract list.
