South Korea Courts India’s Expanding Market for K-Content
South Korea seeks to tap opportunities in India’s rapidly growing, content-hungry market · thestatesman.com

South Korean companies want to do more business in India’s growing entertainment market.

The companies work in areas such as animation, games, television, characters and artificial-intelligence content.

They are meeting Indian companies in New Delhi at an event called K-Content BizWeek.

The event runs from August 31 to September 2, 2026.

Companies can discuss selling content, sharing characters and stories, and making projects together.

Korean and Indian officials said the event could strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

A similar meeting in Mumbai in May led to many business discussions and five agreements.

South Korea hopes these meetings will eventually become real contracts and partnerships.
