Bihar CM Inaugurates Missing Children, Trafficking Conference; Flags Industrial Growth
When children go missing or are taken away to be forced to work, it is a very serious problem.
A leader in Bihar, India, called a big meeting to talk about how to stop this and help the children.
The government says it will not accept people who take children away for bad reasons.
They have already found more than 1,200 missing children by using a special tracking system.
The government is also helping people who have problems by listening to them in special camps.
People send in their problems, and the government has already solved more than five and a half lakh of them.
The leader also talked about big companies coming to Bihar to build factories.
These factories could give people jobs so they do not have to leave their home state to find work.
He also said they are working on flood problems by planning to connect big rivers together.
The goal is to make Bihar a stronger and safer place for everyone.
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary inaugurated the Eastern Zonal Conference-cum-Consultation on Missing Children and Human Trafficking at Gyan Bhawan, Patna.
The conference, organised by the Bihar Home Department, focused on recovery of missing children, prevention of human trafficking, victim rehabilitation and inter-state coordination.
Choudhary said the state is adopting a zero-tolerance approach and strengthening awareness, prevention, rescue and rehabilitation efforts under the 'Naya Savera 3.0' campaign.
He linked the recent signing of MoUs worth more than Rs 51,000 crore with steel industry groups to job creation and reduced migration from Bihar.
He reported that more than 1,200 missing children have been recovered through a real-time monitoring system for missing persons cases.
Over 6 lakh applications have been received through the government's Sahyog Shivirs grievance initiative, with more than 5.50 lakh cases resolved.
The government is exploring permanent solutions for North Bihar floods, including plans to interlink major rivers like the Ganga, Gandak and Kosi.
