Dozens Injured in Double Bus Collision on NH‑19, Mathura
A bus from Uttar Pradesh hit a bus from Haryana from behind on a highway near Mathura.
The crash happened around 4 pm on the Delhi‑bound road.
About 45 people were on the two buses.
More than a dozen people were hurt.
Thirteen were taken to a health centre and later sent home, while one woman went to a hospital for more care.
Police and highway officials helped rescue the injured and are looking into the accident.
More than a dozen passengers were injured when an Uttar Pradesh Roadways bus collided with a Haryana Roadways bus on NH‑19 near Kotwan, Mathura.
The collision occurred around 4 pm on the Delhi‑bound carriageway.
Approximately 45 passengers were on the two buses at the time of the crash.
Thirteen injured passengers were treated at the primary health centre in Kosikalan and later discharged; one woman was referred to the district hospital.
Police, district officials and NHAI personnel launched a rescue operation and are pursuing legal action.
