Air India Pilot Tests Positive for Marijuana After Flight Incident

Flying in an airplane is usually very safe.

The people who fly planes have very important jobs.

They must be healthy and ready to work.

Recently, a plane was flying from Phuket to Delhi.

On August 4, the plane suddenly went up or down about 300 feet.

That made some passengers and crew members get hurt.

The pilot of that plane reportedly tested positive for marijuana.

That means a test found a drug in the pilot's body.

Flying with drugs is not allowed because it can be unsafe.

The plane still landed safely in Delhi, and experts say safety must always come first.
