NEET PG Aspirant Takes Exam as Parents Remain Missing

Tanvi said she continued because she believed her father wanted her to take the exam.
She also missed the curd-and-sugar ritual her mother usually prepared before exams.
She hopes her parents and everyone in the group are safe and return home.
Tanvi took the three-hour NEET PG 2026 exam on August 30 while her parents remained untraced after floods in Nepal.
She said she spent about one and a half hours crying and sometimes struggled to read questions through her tears.
A photograph taken by her father appeared on her admit-card screen during the examination, making it harder to concentrate.
Tanvi’s parents, Venkatram Annamdevara and Anagha Annamdevara, were traveling with a 67-person Kailash Yatra group.
The group’s last reported location was near Nepal’s immigration centre and the Friendship Bridge, and Tanvi said no one from the group or organizing body could be contacted.
