Satheesan Stops Convoy to Aid Accident Victim, Opens Boat Race

V. D. Satheesan saw a young man who had been in an accident on Container Road.

He stopped his vehicle and helped the man.

Later, he opened a boat race in Gothuruthu.

The race was part of a celebration connected with the Holy Cross feast.

Satheesan also remembered journalist Jijo John Puthezhath, who loved the event.

Sports Minister O. J. Jeneesh praised shooter Vidarsha K. Vinod for winning a silver medal.

The government said Asian Games medal winners will receive money and government jobs.

It will also help athletes with travel expenses.
