Aroma Chundan Wins Nehru Trophy Boat Race Debut
Aroma Chundan won a famous boat race in Kerala.
The race took place at Punnamada Lake in Alappuzha.
It was the first time Aroma Chundan and the Aroma Boat Club had competed.
They finished the race in 4:23:328.
Nadubhagam Chundan came very close in second place.
Veeyapuram Chundan finished third, and Melpadam Chundan came fourth.

Nadubhagam Chundan finished second, followed by Veeyapuram Chundan and Melpadam Chundan.
A total of 22 Chundan Vallams competed in the main race, while 71 boats took part across categories.
The event was inaugurated by Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheeshan and Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar.
