DGPs of seven states to meet in Indore for coordination
Police officers keep people safe by solving crimes and catching bad people.
Sometimes, criminals commit crimes in more than one state.
States are like different parts of the same country, and police in one state may need help from police in another.
On August 7, police leaders from seven states in India will meet together in a city called Indore.
The leaders are called Directors General of Police, and they are the most senior police officers in their states.
Many other senior police officers will also attend the meeting.
The top police officer of Madhya Pradesh, Kailash Makwana, will lead the meeting.
They will talk about how to work together to catch criminals, stop cybercrime, fight drugs and keep women safe.
The meeting will last about three hours.
By talking to each other, the police can share information and catch criminals faster.
Madhya Pradesh Police will host the Western Zone Police Coordination Committee meeting in Indore on August 7.
