SCR General Manager Reviews Mahabubabad Station Development Works
South Central Railway chief Sanjay Kumar Srivastava visited Mahabubabad railway station on Friday.
He checked railway tracks and equipment while travelling by a special train.
At the station, he reviewed work to improve the facilities.
He also joined a cleanliness programme and planted saplings.
Local MLA Dr Murali Naik Bhukya spoke with him about railway needs in the area.
Srivastava then visited a machine replacing old tracks between Mahabubabad and Tadlapusapalli.
Officials said the machine can do several track-renewal jobs together.
They expect it to make the work faster and cause less interruption to trains.
South Central Railway General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava inspected Mahabubabad station on Friday.
During a special-train journey from Kacheguda to Warangal, he reviewed signals, overhead traction systems, track conditions, caution orders and train speeds.
At the station, he took part in the Swachhata Hi Seva programme, administered a cleanliness pledge and planted saplings.
Srivastava reviewed redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and discussed local railway issues with MLA Dr Murali Naik Bhukya.
He also inspected mechanised track-renewal work between Mahabubabad and Tadlapusapalli, which officials said could reduce disruption and manual work.
