Ganeshotsav 2026: Families Showcase Devotional Home Decorations Worldwide

Families in different places are celebrating Ganeshotsav by bringing Lord Ganesha into their homes.

Some families made special decorations inspired by temples, caves or holy places.

Jigesh Thakkar’s family in Virar has welcomed Ganesha home for 14 years.

Anita and Ashish celebrated in Dallas, Texas.

Nilesh’s family in Michigan created a shrine inspired by Pandharpur.

Their idol was made from natural clay that can dissolve in water.

They also used cardboard and recyclable materials for the decorations.

Other displays included Bal Ganesh, Nandi, Jalaram Bapa, flowers and modaks.
