US Educators Engage with Hyderabad Students
Two teachers from the United States, Danielle and Steven, visited a school in Hyderabad, India.
They talked to students and teachers about new ways of teaching and learning.
Danielle shared her experiences in teaching science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) using projects that help students think critically and work together.
Steven talked about teaching math to students in communities that need more support and how important it is to include everyone in education.
The students and teachers had discussions about how to make classrooms better and how to understand different cultures.
The school was happy to host the visitors and said it helps students learn about the world and work with people from different countries.
US educators Danielle Ereddia and Steven Miles visited Government Model High School, Aliya, in Hyderabad as part of the 2026 Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Program.
The visit, coordinated by host teacher Padma Priya Vummaji, took place from July 18 to July 22.
Danielle Ereddia shared her experiences in project-based STEAM education, emphasizing critical thinking, creativity, and cultural diversity.
Steven Miles discussed inclusive education and the importance of community participation and international partnerships in improving educational outcomes.
The interactive sessions focused on innovative teaching methods, global citizenship, and cross-cultural understanding, promoting meaningful dialogue and collaboration.
