Independence Day Weekend Streaming: Five Films and Series to Watch

In India, people celebrate Independence Day, and many families have a long holiday weekend.

To make the weekend fun, streaming websites are adding new movies and shows.

Netflix is adding a romantic film called Cocktail 2, about a chef, an architect, and a free-spirited friend on holiday in Sicily.

Netflix is also adding a musical movie called Don't Say Good Luck about a high schooler whose mother is sick.

Another Netflix show, My Brilliant Career, tells the story of a girl in rural Australia who dreams of becoming an author.

ZEE5 is adding Bharat Bhagya Viddhata, a movie about brave hospital workers who saved lives during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.

Lionsgate Play is adding a political thriller called Aakhri Sawal, about a young academic who argues with his former mentor.

Most of the new titles arrive on August 13 and 14.

These stories include romance, drama, heroism, and big ideas.
