Zubair Baloch Shot in Karachi’s Lyari, Critical Condition
Zubair Baloch, a 40‑year‑old man from Karachi’s Lyari, was shot by unknown gunmen on a Thursday night.
The attackers were on a motorcycle and fired at him while he was outside his home.
Two other people were hurt too.
Zubair was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi for surgery and is still very sick.

Zubair Baloch, 40, brother of imprisoned gangster Uzair Baloch, was shot and critically wounded in Karachi’s Lyari on Thursday evening.
The attack occurred outside his Singu Lane residence on Chakiwara Road, with armed men on a motorcycle firing before fleeing.
Two passersby were also injured; Zubair was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi for surgery and remains in critical condition.
Police are investigating motives, citing possible gang rivalry or personal enmity, and noting his 2012 arrest in seven criminal cases and 2025 release.
A local activist reports Zubair recently joined a political party, raising fears of a resurgence of Lyari’s past gang violence.
