Balochistan Minister Escapes Unhurt in Armed Convoy Attack
A very important person called a minister was riding in his car with police guards in a place in Pakistan called Balochistan.
While he was travelling on a road, bad people fired guns at his cars.
The minister was not hurt at all.
But six other people were hurt, and three of them were police officers.
Two of the police officers were hurt very badly.
This attack happened on a road near a place called Khad Kocha, between the cities of Quetta and Kalat.
This is the fourth time in about one month that travellers have been attacked on this same road.
Police soldiers had tried to clean up the area before, but the attackers came back.
The hurt people were taken to a hospital, and the minister's cars safely went back home to Quetta.
Now the police have closed off the area and are searching for the attackers.

The attack occurred in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung district as the minister travelled from Quetta to Kalat.
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind confirmed the minister was unhurt and the convoy returned to Quetta.
This is the fourth incident since last month in which travellers have been attacked by insurgents on the same highway, despite a major clean-up operation by security forces.
