Engineering Institutions Promote Smart, Sustainable Innovation and Digital Skills

Satya Institute of Technology and Management marked the 59th National Engineers’ Day in Vizianagaram with a focus on smart engineering, sustainability, innovation and digitalisation.
Speakers urged engineers to use emerging technologies, artificial intelligence and collaboration across disciplines to address environmental, technological and societal challenges.
Students displayed projects and working models involving sustainability, automation, smart technologies, infrastructure and environmental protection, with prizes awarded to the best exhibits.
MVGR College of Engineering launched a five-day online faculty development programme on artificial intelligence, sustainable infrastructure and geospatial technologies.
About 250 faculty members, research scholars and government professionals attended the programme, which examined digital transformation in civil engineering.
