Guntur Police Launch Film to Fight Youth Drug Abuse
Guntur police made a short film about the dangers of drugs.
The film is called “Drugs Vaddu Bidda – A Battle Against Drugs.”
It is meant to help students and young people avoid drugs.
It also asks parents to pay attention to their children’s behaviour and friends.
Police officials and a lawmaker launched the film at a cinema in Guntur.
Actors and a filmmaker helped create it.
Police said they had arrested about 450 people linked to ganja trade and supply.
They also said more than 70,000 college students had received anti-drug awareness lessons.
The film will be shown in theatres and shared online after permissions are obtained.
