Kia EV2 debuts as most affordable Kia electric SUV. Top 5 facts buyers must know · livemint.com

Kia has introduced the EV2, its smallest and most affordable electric SUV.

It comes in two battery options, offering different ranges and power outputs.

The EV2 is designed to be compact and practical, making it easy to drive in city traffic.

Its interior looks similar to the Kia Syros, which is already sold in India, and includes three digital screens and over-the-air updates.

The car has a unique four-seat layout but is expected to have five seats if launched in India.

Kia hasn't announced plans to launch the EV2 in India yet, but it could be a popular choice if it becomes available there in 2026.

Hyundai has also unveiled its Staria MPV in an all-electric version.

The Staria Electric features a 84 kWh battery pack with a range of up to 400 km.

It offers two seating configurations: a Luxury variant with seven seats and a Wagon version with nine seats.

The Staria Electric will be available in European and Korean markets in the first half of 2026, but its launch in India is still uncertain.
