Panvel Approves Infrastructure Projects, Rejects Metro Funding

The Panvel Municipal Corporation had a meeting where they decided to approve several important projects.

These include building a new crematorium, improving water supply from the Dehrang Dam, developing parks and gardens, and working on drainage systems.

They also approved some welfare schemes like giving financial help to women from mining areas and setting up recreation centers for senior citizens.

However, they rejected proposals for maintaining LED streetlights and providing funds for Metro Line 12.

Some other proposals, like upgrading a sewage plant and building a multi-level parking facility, were postponed for later consideration.
