Delhi Court Raps Media, Takes Cognisance of NEET Leak Chargesheet

NEET is a very big exam that helps students get into medical school in India.

Some people cheated by getting the exam paper before the test, which is called a paper leak.

Because of the leak, the exam board cancelled the test and held it again later.

The CBI, a special detective agency, investigated and arrested people it says were involved.

It wrote a long report called a chargesheet, naming 13 accused people.

A judge in Delhi named Ajay Gupta accepted this report on Wednesday.

The judge also told the media off because newspapers printed the names of some witnesses, and those witnesses might even be children.

He called this 'extremely shocking' and said responsible media should not do such things.

Next, the court will hear arguments on whether formal charges should be filed, possibly from Thursday.
