Indore Police Arrest Two in Killing, Probe Cyber Fraud
Police in Indore are investigating two separate cases.
In the first, a security guard named Dharmendra Malviya argued with people in a car near a colony gate.
Police say the car later returned and hit him and his wife.
Dharmendra died at a hospital, and two suspects were arrested while allegedly trying to leave the city.
In the second case, a farmer said someone used his bank account without permission.
The person spent more than Rs 4.29 lakh on online purchases.
Some orders were cancelled and Rs 2.70 lakh was returned, but Rs 1.59 lakh was still missing.
Police are investigating both cases.
Lasudia police arrested Raja Kumawat and Shalini alias Sejal Tiwari for allegedly deliberately driving into security guard Dharmendra Malviya after an argument.
Police said the confrontation began when Malviya questioned a speeding car near La Exotica Colony on Wednesday night.
Malviya died at a hospital, while his wife Jyoti was also hit; police seized the unnumbered car allegedly used in the incident.
In a separate case, 63-year-old farmer Vishnu Patel reported unauthorized bank transactions totaling Rs 4,29,944 between August 18 and 21.
Cancelled orders generated refunds of Rs 2,70,226, but Rs 1,59,718 remained missing; police are investigating the cyber fraud.
