A report studied how much money different mutual fund companies earned in FY26.

The three biggest earners were SBI AMC, ICICI Prudential AMC and HDFC AMC.

Together, they made about 53% of the industry’s total profit.

Overall industry profit increased by almost 14% to Rs 17,285 crore.

Mutual fund companies also collected more management fees than the year before.

Some companies kept more of their fees, while others paid a larger share to distributors.

The report said regular investments called SIPs may help the industry grow.

It recommended SBI AMC, ICICI Prudential AMC and Prudent Corporate Advisory for specific business strengths.
