Eden Realty Plans Rs 600-Crore Hooghly Riverfront Hotel Project
Eden Realty wants to build three fancy hotels beside the Hooghly River.

One hotel near the Botanical Garden may be designed like a herbal spa.
Another, in Garden Reach, is planned as a place for weddings.
A third hotel would be built near Eden Realty’s Westshore township in Shibpur.
Eden is discussing hotel operations with Mayfair Hotels & Resorts and another hospitality company.
The agreements are not final yet, and the port must approve construction.
Eden also wants to run ferries so guests can travel between the hotels and other riverfront locations.
Eden Realty plans to invest ₹600 crore by 2030 in three luxury hotels along the Hooghly riverfront.
The proposed properties include a 60-80-room herbal spa in Shibpur, a 200-room wedding hotel in Garden Reach, and a 100-room hotel in Shibpur.

The Garden Reach hotel is expected to cost ₹350 crore, while the two Shibpur projects are estimated at ₹100 crore and ₹150 crore.
