Taroki-Rowghat Railway Link Set to Boost Chhattisgarh Trade
A new railway section in Chhattisgarh is almost ready to open.
It connects Taroki with Rowghat over 17.5 kilometres.
Officials are checking the tracks, bridges, signals and electrical systems before trains can use it.
The railway is a part of a larger 95-kilometre project.

The section is part of the 95-km Dallirajhara-Rowghat New Rail Line Project.
The single-line electrified broad-gauge route will extend passenger connectivity beyond Taroki into south Chhattisgarh.
The line is expected to facilitate iron-ore transport to the Bhilai Steel Plant and movement of other goods.
