Mumbai Police Recover ₹2.90 Lakh Lost In Yellow Bag
A man lost a yellow bag while travelling on Madam Cama Road.
The bag had ₹2.90 lakh inside it.
Police officer Mahesh Sudhakar Gawde found the bag around noon on September 6.
He took it to the Marine Drive police station.
Police officers checked CCTV cameras near the area.
The cameras helped them find the person who had lost it.
His name was Nischit Vined Shah.
Police checked the details and returned all the money to him.
Shah said the money was for household expenses.
An officer found a yellow bag containing ₹2.90 lakh on Madam Cama Road.
Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Mahesh Sudhakar Gawde brought the bag to Marine Drive police station.
The Crime Detection Team reviewed nearby CCTV footage to identify the bag’s owner.
Police traced the owner as Nischit Vined Shah of Churchgate’s Shripad Society.
After verification, police returned the full amount to Shah on September 6.
