STF arrests another with alleged ISI links in Cooch Behar
Police officers called the Special Task Force arrested a man named Mithu Rahman.
They think he was helping Pakistan's spy agency, called the ISI, by sending secret information.
He was caught near the border between India and Bangladesh.
The police also think he was passing around fake money.
Before catching him, the police had arrested three other men on Friday.
Those three men were accused of buying Indian SIM cards and sending them to spies in Pakistan through Bangladesh.
The police learned about Rahman by asking those men questions.
Rahman was taken to court on Monday, and the judge said he must stay with the police for 10 days while they investigate.
The police are checking his phone and other devices to learn more.
They want to know if all four men were part of a bigger spy network.
The Special Task Force arrested 35-year-old Mithu Rahman from Dighaltari village in Dinhata on Sunday night on suspicion of spying for Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Rahman is suspected of espionage on behalf of ISI and involvement in the circulation of counterfeit currency notes.
His arrest followed information obtained while interrogating three others arrested on Friday night from the Sahebganj area.
On the night of August 15, the STF arrested Rashidul Haque, Nur Nasiruddin Ali and Shafikul Islam from border areas of Dinhata; a court ordered them to 14 days in judicial custody.
The trio was accused of obtaining Indian SIM cards and sending them to ISI handlers in Pakistan through Bangladesh; Rahman was remanded to 10 days in police custody on Monday.
