Indore Men Lose ₹1.22 Lakh in AI and Trading Scams

Two men in Indore were tricked in separate online scams.

One man spoke to someone who claimed to be offering a marriage proposal.

Scammers changed screenshots from his video call into fake inappropriate pictures using artificial intelligence.

They threatened to share the pictures unless he paid money.

They also pretended to be a senior police official to frighten him.

He paid ₹72,000 but the scammers still demanded more.

In the second case, an accountant was promised large daily profits from a trading app.

He deposited ₹50,000 and shared a one-time password, after which the money was taken from his bank account.

Police complaints were filed in both cases.
