Gurugram officials face action for illegal property registrations
In Gurugram, some officials are in trouble for registering properties illegally.
The Bristol Hotel-cum-commercial complex was registered on December 29, 2025, even though the Town and Country Planning Department (TCP) had said no.
The TCP had sent a letter saying no sales or leases should happen, but the registration still took place.
The officials might have done this on purpose.
There are also other properties being investigated for similar issues.
The officials involved might face legal action.
Property registration for Bristol Hotel-cum-commercial complex occurred despite TCP prohibition.
TCP Director Amit Khatri recommended legal action against Naib Tehsildar Narendra for alleged misconduct.
Registration took place on December 29, 2025, at Wazirabad tehsil, violating TCP directives.
The property's land use conditions were violated by selling individual units without mandatory licenses.
Investigations are ongoing for similar violations involving Ansal Buildwell properties in Sushant Lok-III.
