Ceigall India has won a large electricity infrastructure project in Gujarat.

The project is worth about ₹5,300 crore, including taxes.

The company will build a major electrical substation and around 300 kilometres of power lines.

These lines will carry electricity from three important generation areas.

The areas are Lakadia, Jam Khambhaliya and Jamnagar.

The project is expected to be completed in 36 months.

After that, Ceigall India will operate the system for 35 years.

It is expected to receive ₹608.67 crore each year for providing the transmission service.

The project also helps the company expand beyond roads into power and renewable-energy infrastructure.
