Ceigall India Wins ₹5,300 Crore Gujarat Power Transmission Project
Ceigall India has won a large electricity infrastructure project in Gujarat.
The project is worth about ₹5,300 crore, including taxes.
The company will build a major electrical substation and around 300 kilometres of power lines.
These lines will carry electricity from three important generation areas.
The areas are Lakadia, Jam Khambhaliya and Jamnagar.
The project is expected to be completed in 36 months.
After that, Ceigall India will operate the system for 35 years.
It is expected to receive ₹608.67 crore each year for providing the transmission service.
The project also helps the company expand beyond roads into power and renewable-energy infrastructure.
Ceigall India received a letter of intent for a ₹5,300 crore Gujarat power transmission project.
The project includes a 765/400 kV air-insulated substation and about 300 kilometres of transmission lines.
The network will evacuate power from Lakadia, Jam Khambhaliya and Jamnagar generation zones.
Construction is scheduled for completion within 36 months, followed by 35 years of asset operation.
Ceigall India is expected to receive annual transmission charges of ₹608.67 crore during operations.
