Union Minister Nadda Visits Flood-Hit Sivasagar in Assam

Heavy floods hit a place in India called Assam, damaging homes, farms and animals.

A big leader from the central government, Mr. Nadda, went to see the damage.

He was joined by the Chief Minister of Assam, Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.

They visited small villages called Bihubor, Nepali Khuti and Santak.

The roads were covered in mud, so Mr. Nadda even rode a tractor part of the way.

He told the people that the government would give all the help they need.

He promised money to repair losses and support rebuilding homes and farms.

He said the damage is so huge that it will take time for normal life to return.

He praised the state government for helping people quickly.

Mr. Sarma thanked him and hoped the Prime Minister would hear about the situation.
