Gandhi Hospital Acquires ₹2.69-Crore Heart-Lung Machine
Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad has received a new heart-lung machine that costs ₹2.69 crore.
This machine helps doctors perform open-heart surgeries by temporarily taking over the functions of the heart and lungs.
The machine was inaugurated by Dr Gaurav Uppal, who is the managing director of the Telangana Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation.
The machine was ordered in April and installed in July.
This new equipment will help the hospital do more complex heart surgeries safely and precisely.
